Kwamena Kwansah-Aidoo (PhD), is Professor of Communication and Rector of the Ghana Institute of Journalism, Accra. He has teaching experience spanning over two decades and four continents. His academic research interests include media and agenda-setting, culture and crisis communication, public relations practice, identity and belonging, and women in Ghanaian films.

Prof. Eric Opoku Mensah is the Deputy Rector of the Ghana Institute of Journalism, Accra. He holds a PhD from the University of Cape Town and has over a decade of teaching and research experience in Communication Studies. His research interest is in language and media, political communication and Pan Africanism.

Gloria Hiadzi is the Executive Secretary of the Ghana Independent Broadcasters Association (GIBA). She holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Ghana Business School. She has experience working in development circles and about nine years working in the media industry. Her interest lies in languages, research, and sports.

David Sitsope Kobla Tamakloe is Vice PRresident of the Private Newspaper Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG), a Media Entrepreneur and practitioner. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Wales and an M.A. in Development Communications from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.

Raymond Nii Doodo Larbie is the HR Shared Services Manager of the Multimedia Group Limited. He holds an MBA in Human Resource Management, with twenty years of work experience covering the manufacturing, financial and media sectors. He has a strong passion for mentoring young people to gain the relevant competencies for future job satisfaction.

Henry Nii Dottey, APR, is Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications at United Bank for Africa (Ghana) Ltd and Vice President of the Institute of Public Relations, Ghana. He holds an MBA, Marketing Option from the University of Ghana Business School, Legon and B.A. in Communication Studies from the Institute of Journalism, Accra.

Mrs Mamle Andrews is the Chief Director of the Ministry of Information with almost thirty years of work experience in various capacities in the Civil Service. She is reform-minded, an advocate for professionalism and upholds high ethical values. She keenly supports the two Media Support Programmes of the Ministry, namely the Safety of Journalists and the Media Capacity Enhancement Programme.

Mrs. Patricia Dovi Sampson is the Director responsible for Finance and Administration in the Ministry of Information. She joined the Ghana Civil Service in 1997. She loves to promote gender inclusiveness and is currently the Vice President of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association Ladies Club (CLOGSALAC).
